The FUGRO ENTERPRISE is designed as a USCG Subchapter I vessel and is being ABS ocean classed. The vessel is due to receive its SOLAS certificate. The vessel will provide research and support for many different operations in the oil field. The vessel has the flexibility and versatility to perform many different tasks due to the arrangements and capacity of the vessel. The vessel has two moon pools and will be equipped with the latest sonar equipment. The vessel’s accommodations will allow plenty of space for scientific research and computing space along with plenty of berthing and living space for the crew and complement of scientists. The vessel is powered by 3508B Caterpillar engines and is currently being finished at Boconco Shipyard in Bayou La Batre, AL.
